Chuck
Dempsey was born and raised in Southern
California. His family has been involved
in the off-road industry for over 40
years. Chuck has over 20 year’s
professional racing experience; he
delivers a level of professionalism, and
enthusiasm along with a dedication to
his sport and team mates. Chuck is well
respected in the off-road community and
a favorite to the off-road enthusiast.
Career
Highlights
Chuck has
competed off-road in both the
motorcycles and off-road truck arena. He
has raced the Baja 1000 over 27 times
and featured in the movie “Dust to
Glory”. His first win was in a Class 1
car in 2009. His vast experience in the
off-road field and long history of
competing, make him an easy podium
interview. He has been featured numerous
times in Dirt Sports Magazine. He placed
1st in the motorcycle arena on a Honda
XR 650 in 2005 against Honda factory “A”
team. He’s driven professionally for 7
years. During the Baja 1000 in 2006,
drove in a Pro-Truck for Mango Racing
and jumped on the BMW motorcycle at the
same event making him a fierce
competitor. In November of 2008 Chuck
won the infamous “Baja 1000” in the
SCORE International series, giving his
team a shot at the championship. Chuck
was also recognized by his peers as
“Rookie of the Year” in the Best in the
Desert race venue in 2008. Chuck prior
team mates have included lengendary
drivers Jeff Ward, John Herder and Chris
Blais.
Career Impressions
Chuck’s
exposure in the off-road magazines
started early on in his career prior to
him competing in the off-road series
like CORR or Lucas Oil. He was featured
in Dirt Sports magazine for his
transition from motorcycles to trucks
and cars. He has been interviewed many
times by Speed, Cycle News and Dusty
Times. He is very accessible and with
his warm nature makes him an easy target
for the news media. The transition to
live coverage in 2008 has already put
him into the public’s eye. |
